Doha Rev. Chandelier: Transitional Murano Glass Lighting
Doha Rev. bridges two design languages.
Rather than following either a strictly traditional Venetian chandelier or an overtly contemporary form, its design combines recognizable decorative elements of Murano lighting with cleaner, transitional proportions.
The result is a chandelier that can introduce the character of handcrafted Venetian glass into interiors where classic and contemporary elements already coexist.
Sinuous Lines and Twelve Lights
Doha Rev. features twelve lights arranged across two levels in a 6+6 configuration, within a composition measuring 105 cm high and 97 cm in diameter.
Its design is characterized by sinuous lines, upward-facing lights, pendants and elegant lampshades. Together, these elements build the chandelier vertically and horizontally, creating a substantial focal point without relying on exaggerated ornament.
The pendants introduce smaller points of reflection beneath the main structure, while the curved glass components lead the eye through the composition.
Designed to Define the Room
With its generous dimensions, Doha Rev. is suited to spaces where lighting needs to contribute meaningfully to the interior: above a large dining table, within a living room, entrance or other setting with sufficient scale to appreciate the complete composition.
Its transitional character is particularly valuable here. Doha Rev. can complement classical architectural details without making the room feel overly traditional, while its handcrafted glass gives more personality to contemporary interiors.
The chandelier is entirely handmade in Murano by Roberto Beltrami and his team at the Wave furnace.
Doha Rev. is a piece to build a room around: choose it when you want the warmth and detail of Venetian decorative lighting without committing the interior to a purely classical aesthetic.
