Domingo Vase: 1970s-Inspired Colour in Contemporary Murano Glass
Domingo looks back to the 1970s without becoming nostalgic.
Its combination of expressive colour, elegant curves and organic decoration takes inspiration from the visual language of the decade, then translates it into a contemporary Murano glass vase shaped by Roberto Beltrami and his team.
Rather than treating colour as a separate surface element, the decoration works with the movement of the form, giving Domingo an energetic, fluid appearance.
Curves, Colour and Organic Movement
The silhouette avoids rigid geometry in favour of softer lines. This gives the vase a sense of movement even when standing still and allows its decoration to follow the curves naturally.
That relationship between form and colour is what gives Domingo much of its personality. It can provide contrast in a restrained interior or join a more eclectic environment without disappearing among other decorative pieces.
Two proportions are available: 23 × 20 × 12 cm and a taller 35 × 20 × 12 cm version.
The smaller format offers a compact decorative accent, while the taller version creates greater vertical presence without significantly increasing its footprint.
Designed to Be Seen
Domingo can be used with flowers, but its expressive decoration means it does not depend on them. Displayed empty on a console, shelf, sideboard or table, it works naturally as a decorative Murano glass object.
Each vase is entirely handcrafted by Roberto Beltrami and the Wave team, so the organic character of the design is accompanied by the individuality inherent in handmade production.
For interiors that need a little more energy, Domingo is an easy piece to fall for: colourful enough to attract attention, sculptural enough to remain interesting, and distinctive enough to make an otherwise simple corner feel intentionally designed.
