Ca' D'Oro Vase: Venetian Architecture Reinterpreted in Murano Glass
The Ca' D'Oro collection takes its name from one of Venice's most recognizable palaces.
Also known as Palazzo Santa Sofia, the fifteenth-century Ca' d'Oro is celebrated for the richly ornamented character of Venetian Gothic architecture. Wave translates that sense of grandeur into a large-scale Murano glass vase designed around strong proportions and metallic detail.
White Glass and Silver
The vase is presented in a White and Silver combination.
Against the white glass, silver introduces changing reflections rather than a flat decorative colour. As daylight and artificial light move across the piece, metallic areas become more or less pronounced, helping emphasize the vase's form.
The restrained palette also allows the object to make an impact through scale and material rather than through multiple competing colours.
Made for Architectural Interiors
Ca' D'Oro is available in substantial 56 cm and 74 cm heights.
These proportions make it particularly suited to generous spaces: entrance halls, large living rooms, hotel and hospitality environments, or residential interiors where a smaller vase would not have sufficient visual weight.
Displayed on its own, it functions naturally as a sculptural decorative object. Its height can create a strong vertical accent, while the white-and-silver finish works particularly well alongside stone, neutral surfaces and contemporary materials.
Each Ca' D'Oro Vase is handcrafted in Murano, connecting the collection's Venetian architectural inspiration with the island's glassmaking tradition.
Ca' D'Oro brings a fragment of Venice's decorative confidence into the contemporary interior, not by reproducing the palace, but by translating its sense of scale, richness and presence into glass.
